Most people are curious about the Pastor's preaching when they consider attending a church. Please know....
- *My sermons are thoroughly Biblical - if they are not, they are not worth much!
- *I attempt to balance Old Testament and New Testament book studies
- *My approach to preaching is called "expostional" - meaning that I do my best to open the Bible's teaching to 21st Century people, with life application
- *I include a good bit of humor in my sermons....it just comes naturally!
- *I usually preach about 30 minutes per service - well, maybe 40 once in a while!
My present series include:
| Sunday Morning | "Watch Jesus Work- Studies in the Gospel of Mark" |
| Sunday Evening | A "Potpourri" of various short series, dealing with various doctrinal, topical, or biographical subjects |
Our Adult Sunday School classes at present include:
"The Book of Romans" taught in Fellowship Hall
"Psalms" taught in the Campus Library
A word of ADVICE: If you decide to visit Aetna Calvary Church.....come early! Several times in 2007, those who came late had to sit in the front. We are nearing an average Sunday Morning attendance close to 80% of our seating capacity. My humble opinion is, the Front Seats are the Best Seats!
Seriously, we would welcome your visit to Aetna! We think God is doing a special work here, and new people are always welcomed! We LOVE Company!
